What is a School Accountability Committee (SAC)?

School Accountability Committees (SACs) play a vital role in shaping the success of our schools. These committees bring together parents, staff, and community members to collaborate on key decisions, including:

• Recommending priorities for spending school funds.
• Helping develop the school’s Performance, Improvement, Priority Improvement, or Turnaround plan.
• Meeting at least quarterly to discuss progress and ensure the school stays on track with its goals and accreditation contract.
