On June 28, the ASD school board met to determine if two pending proposals should appear on the November ballot. Based on the input from a special task force, Superintendent Linda Reed recommended that the board move forward on the mill levy override and postpone action on the bond measure to build a new elementary school until next year, giving the district more time to refine the proposal and to educate the community.
