Healthy Students are Better Learners

Students’ health directly impacts their ability to learn and thrive in the classroom. When students are well-nourished, mentally supported, and free from the distraction of untreated medical conditions; they are more engaged, attentive, and ready to learn. By promoting physical fitness, preventive care, mental health resources, and health education within schools, Archuleta School District health staff strives to create an environment where students can achieve their full academic potential. Ultimately, healthy students are not only better learners—they’re more confident, resilient, and equipped for lifelong success.

Student Health Services Vision and Mission
